back to the woods — picture

I guess it’s time for another graphic update. We’re getting older but you can see by the smiles that we are still having a good time together.

We had lunch at a coffee shop the other day and the table of men near us were a bit loud. One couldn’t help but hear a good part of their conversation and I left that place wondering if men actually like their wives. By the sounds of their conversations — and I don’t think they were just being playful about what they were saying — the half-dozen guys at that table don’t think very much of their wives — or their friends wives.

I guess I’m really lucky. Here we are 55+ years and Peg is still my best friend. We laugh every day — multiple times — and not at each other, though sometimes there are reasons to. We don’t talk badly about each other to others. Then again I guess we don’t spend all that much time alone with other people, but we wouldn’t even if we did. Anyway. I just decided this was time for a visual update.

Besides — it’s tax day, I’ve not only gotten my taxes done and filed a long time ago. So, now it’s time to start on Next Year’s taxes I guess. 🙂
