It’s been a couple years since our last visit to the Missouri Botanical Garden in Saint Louis, and as long as we had the time we had to stop!  Our intended visit on the way North didn’t work out, and this visit on the Southbound leg of our trip almost didn’t happen either — but a break in the rain made it possible.

I have to say that the Missouri garden is always well cared for.  Compared to some botanical gardens that seem to have a hard time getting enough volunteer help to keep their garden spotless, MOBOT has a great volunteer and paid staff who do just that:  keep it spotless, relevant, & ever-changing.  MOBOT is a member of the American Horticultural Society’s reciprocal program so if you’re a member of another garden you have reciprocal benefits including free admission!

I’m sure we’ll be back many, many times.
