Norcold Be Gone!

I’ve got the kewlest Son-in-Law!  He never ceases to amaze me.  Our abilities are so far removed one from the other that there are many times I don’t understand him, but I love him dearly.

I mentioned a few days ago that we had a camper here who was having Norcold problems. In my usual way, hearing someone commiserating served as an opportunity to get to know them, and to share our own experiences and the next thing I knew the camper and I were sharing notes on how we went about changing out our refrigerator and on who did the work.

It wasn’t long before their desperation to solve their refrigeration problem and the fact that I had said my son-in-law did our job — and showing him the whiz-bang job that he did — before he’d contacted Michael and sealed a deal for Mike to do the same for him.

We got the first picture last night of the job in progress.  The passenger door on this Fleetwood Providence was narrower than ours, and their replacement fridge was larger than ours but it all fit — in through the driver’s side window!

Out with the old, in with the new….

Today Mike will be building & fitting a cabinet to provide some storage in the space freed up by the more compact household refrig.  And the customer sounds to be happy with the progress so far.  We see that they’ll be back in the campground later this week — so I’m guessing we’ll have a chance to see the finished project then.

Mike says he’ll do more of these if the opportunity arises so, we’ll see… If you’re looking to do a Norcold replacement, drop me a line and I’ll put you in touch with Michael.

Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll be here again tomorrow to chat. Why not stop and say hello!

  1. Isn’t it great to have people who can fix just about anything in your circle. I don’t know how many times I have been unbelievable grateful to have a guy like Rick around. Saves us tons of money too!
