It’s funny, the clouds came and went in just a short time.  Most of the day was bright and sunny, then this happened, then it was beauteous all over again.

I’d kind of like to return here on another day.  This stop was an impromptu stop after discovering that there were only 17 manatees at Blue Spring.  There’s a lovely little 2 block long historic business district and there are THREE versions of the residential neighborhood.  In the early days there was a White residential version of town,  then offset by some distance on two sides were two separate versions of Black Town — with some very interesting versions of the housing available to whites and blacks 100+ years ago.  This country has come a long way from the slavery days of yore — but we still have a long way to go before people are treated the same.  I don’t even want to use the word equal anymore.  For those who have read the Orwell book 1984 you’ll know what I mean then I say that some people are created “more equal than others.”

Thanks for stopping by, and I’ll talk with you again tomorrow.
