Refrigerator Shopping

We still don’t know how bad the trouble with our fridge is, but I think it’s time to at least go our and shop what’s available in refrigerators small enough to fit in the coach.   GRRRRR.

    1. Yup. You are so right. I really hate to limit ourselves to AC only, even with our solar power — but it’s no fun living with the uncertainty about how soon we’ll have another problem with what we have — and losing food each time, and the inconvenience, and lost time when something fails when you have to be somewhere.
Besides, sometimes popsicles are the only things that keep me sane. 🙂
      Cherry forever!!!

  1. Be careful buying the Samsung brand. Our TV is a few years old, but it bled pink in the background, turning a shade of brown which changes face color most of the time into a weird pattern. Our fridge is over a year old, and also bled pink from the ice cube dispenser. It has never worked right since the second week we owned it. Friends of ours bought the exact same one and theirs works fine. Neither Samsung nor the store we bought it at would do anything about it. I’ve decided to bypass the Samsung brand and that store for any major purchases.

    1. Thanks for the comment on Samsung. Have never had a Samsung appliance. I have read about several RV’ers who have replaced their RV fridge with Samsun and Whirlpool — but when I look at the models that are currently available I don’t see anything that is the right size for our opening. I think some people have replace their Norcolds with units that extend further into the aisle than what I’m willing to do. We don’t have that large of an aisle in the first place. So I’m doing my research and we’ll just have to see what we can find, and what the service tech says at the end of next week which sounds like the first time I’ll be able to get a technician to look at it. So, for now it’s due-diligence in advance of making a decision.

You’ve heard what I’m thinking. What's on YOUR mind?
